A quiet place
to work.
Open it in the evening and calm settles in. Your writing is where you left it. Your timer is on the wall. A friend is at the next desk. Nothing sells to you, nothing scrolls, nothing interrupts.
Five rooms. One quiet house.
The Desk
Set tonight's intent, then begin. Your timer is on the wall and your work is in reach — nothing else asks for your screen.
Pages
A page that doesn't blink for attention. Write your essay, your notes, your draft, until the thought is finished.
Rooms
Shared quiet, not a group chat that demands a reply. A candle glows when a friend is at their desk beside you.
Agents
Bring your own — a tutor, an editor, a librarian. Peer ships no model of its own; your agent simply gets a seat.
The Shelf
The books at your elbow. Keep what you're reading in view, instead of scattered across twelve tabs.
While a focus session is open,
nothing interrupts. Ever.
Notifications go out like candles. They wait quietly while you work, and the bell rings once, when your session ends. There is no badge that climbs while you write, and no red dot keeping score. Opening your inbox is a choice you make — never a reflex we train into you.
We call this the Quiet Contract. There is no settings page for it, because there is nothing to configure — quiet is the default, not a preference.
A room you can own.
Peer is open source. Fork it, retheme it, or run it exactly as we ship it — strong defaults, and few settings to fuss with.
Self-hostable
Your data, your keys, your room. Run Peer on your own server, or let us run it for you.
Themeable
One token file per theme. Swap it and the whole room changes color — the study at night, or the daytime library.
Pluggable
Desk modules and agent connectors have small, documented contracts. Teach the room new tricks.
The evening is still yours.
Come in, set an intent, and get to work. The room is quiet and waiting.
